Singapore, 27 September 2026. Elemental, a family-founded movement brand from Singapore and Sydney, will make its public Singapore debut on 29 October 2026 at Commune Furniture, Millenia Walk. The launch introduces a product family that begins with reformer Pilates but is built around a broader idea: movement should belong naturally in the places people live.
Elemental was born from a question on a wooden deck in Niseko: why does a reformer have to belong only in a studio? Founder Samantha Giam, a certified classical Pilates instructor and former marketing leader at Herman Miller and Steelcase, applied two decades of experience around design-led objects to a category still largely defined by heavy, static equipment.
The first collection includes TerraFold™, a full-scale foldable reformer designed for home, studio and considered outdoor environments; TerraStudio™, a fixed-frame expandable reformer platform for studios and hospitality; and Pebble™, a lightweight EPP Pilates box for reformer and mat practice.
Rather than treating movement equipment as something to hide, Elemental designs each object to sit comfortably alongside furniture and architecture. The brand language is built around three ideas: built for living, built for places and built for people.
TerraFold and Pebble are available to order now, with factory release scheduled for 6 November 2026. TerraStudio launches in March 2027. Commune Furniture is Elemental's Singapore retail partner.
The Singapore launch will take place alongside Elemental Wellness Perspectives, a short-format evening bringing together design, hospitality and movement voices to explore how wellbeing is changing the spaces people live, work and travel through.
“I didn't set out to build a reformer. I set out to build something I never wanted to live without.”
